Really?!?!? Again?

Update:  I'm glad to report that it appears that I may be the only one having issues with healthcare.gov.  It still doesn't work from my Mac but it is working fantastic from my computer with Internet Explorer on it.  Anyway, try the website for yourself and see if it works for you.  If you are on a Mac with Safari please let me know if it works for you.  With that said, I leave this hasty complaint up for awhile to see if other Mac users are having any issues.

Ok, so we are into year two of healthcare.gov and I go there to see if I can get information that will help one of my friends get insurance for their 26 year old kid that still lives with them.  You see, he is a conservative Republican that can't stand the ACA but he also wants his son to be covered.  During a recent long car ride with him I explained to him that although I too was a "conservative" and a Republican I thought that we needed to move to single payer but that the ACA had some good things in it that should benefit getting decent coverage at a reasonable rate for his son that makes less than $20,000 a year despite having a college degree.

Anyway, long story short, you are supposed to be able to go on healthcare.gov today and check out the prices for the open enrollment period for 2015 coverage.  The website comes right up which is an improvement over last year.  It asks you to immediately input your zip code which I do.  I input that the coverage is for a 26 year old, non-smoker with about $20,000 of income.  Everything seems to be working and then it takes you to a page that says that there are 40 plans to choose from and you can sort them either according to the premium or the deductible amount.  It then says that I have 5 pages to scroll through.  The only problem is that not a single plan actually is shown.  No plan name, no provider, no estimated premium or deductible amount.  Nothing!

I know that I have a different take than my liberal friends here on many issues but this is the kind of crap why I still cling to my "conservative" self-identification.  How is it possible that this was not fixed?!?!??!?!?!

I am hoping that this is a temporary bump in the road and that this will be quickly fixed but it is frustrating/disappointing to the extreme to try to bring a friend around on the benefits of the ACA and ultimately single payer but I can't get the information I need because the government messes up the website AGAIN!!

Anyway, sorry for the short diary but this irks the heck out of me.  Anybody else try it and having any luck getting the plans to come up?
